A B O U T   B R E N N A

Despite her Slytherin heritage, Brenna Victoria Richards, a sixth-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry, was sorted into Ravenclaw, much to her parents' dismay. She often wonders why she wasn't sorted into Slytherin due to her high interest in Dark Arts, but has concluded that she's too lazy to be as ambitious as her Slytherin friends.

Brenna received only Outstandings & Excellents on her OWLS, but prefers subjects that require focus and skill, like Potions, Ancient Runes, & Arithmancy, but she also enjoys Astronomy. She has a bit more trouble in Charms & Transfiguration, and while she's good at reading people, she thinks that Divination class is a waste of time and refused to take it.

Brenna is witty & funny and has a few friends, but often prefers being alone or spending time with her sisters, especially her twin sister, bookwormbri. She has another sister, lil_idril, a seventh-year. She mostly hangs with the pureblood crowds, and her bloodlines & heritage are very important to her. She doesn't mind mingling with Muggle-borns or half-bloods, as long as they "measure up" to her standards of intelligence. She does have quite a few non-pureblooded friends that she loves dearly.

Brenna is accepting of people from all houses, but really rolls her eyes at the truly brash, overly liberal and radical Gryffindors. She sees only immaturity and silliness from them and finds it hard to take them seriously. She doesn't mind the quieter types, though, who like to read and show some intelligence. She greatly admires Hufflepuffs for their hardworking nature, and she secretly wishes she was sorted into Slytherin, if only as an opportunity to learn more about the Dark Arts, as that house is famed for producing wizards who are skilled in that field.

She mostly agrees with her sister Bri, who is extremely loving and tolerant of mostly anyone, though deep inside, her emotions and thoughts battle each other. She knows that the things their father does and says are wrong, and at the same time, she understands why he says them. She believes that he only wants to protect the reputation of their family, which she feels is important and should not be tainted. She knows that she can be quite elitist and snobby, but doesn't really care. Although she and Bri are twins, this is their main difference, and the one thing she shares with her sister Bela, who is a Slytherin. She wishes she could talk to Bela more often about how she feels about things as she's sure Bela would understand, but Bri disagrees with Bela so much that Brenna ends up hiding away in the library to stay away from the drama.

Brenna is small in stature, measuring only five feet, two inches. She has long, wavy brown hair that is so dark it is often mistaken for black, dark green eyes, and olive skin. She often wears black clothing, but since her family travels during school holidays, she's picked up many exotic outfits from around the world and loves to wear them out. Her birthday is August 29th. Brenna's wand is made of Hazel, 11 inches, with a dragon heartstring core. Her patronus takes the form of a raven, which is also the meaning of her name and her favorite animal.

Brenna has a huge crush on Lysander Kasparov-Cross. Huge.
